Join the property industry in spending A Night Without Home, to ensure a home for all.

A Night Without Home is an awareness and fundraising event throughout October to help end homelessness in Australia.

Every dollar raised will accelerate the impact of organisations dedicated to driving innovative and sustainable solutions to ending homelessness in Australia, through the A Home for All Foundation.

Get involved, your way

Tonight, more than 122,000 Australians won’t have a safe, secure place to call home. 94% of them are hidden – couch surfing, sleeping in their car, or moving from one temporary accommodation to the next.

Choose your own challenge this October, and help rewrite this story.

However you choose to participate, make sure you’re doing so safely.

Couch Surfing

Sleep the night on the couch at a mate’s place

Office Overnighter

Bring the team together to connect on the issue

Sleep in the car

Park somewhere safe and camp out in your car for a night

Sleep outdoors

Camp or go without a roof for the night

Go without home comforts

Pledge to go without hot water, electricity, Netflix, or another home comfort for the month

Fundraise your way

Hold a bake sale, morning tea, raffle, or charity auction – raise funds anyway that works for you

However you choose to participate, make sure you’re doing so safely.

If you’re couch surfing, make sure it’s with a friend or family member that you trust. If you’re spending the night in the office, check in – do you need wardens, security or additional insurance? If you’re sleeping outdoors, head to the backyard or a designated camping spot.

If you’re sleeping in the car, park in a safe, secured and private space. Sleeping outside isn’t legal in every state, so make sure to check in on your local laws before choosing a challenge.

Together, we can end homelessness in Australia
